Coleslaw salad is very suitable as an addendum to dinner or any other meal. Without dressing it is considered as very healthy, because it contains vegetables without fat or oil in it. Carrots, cabbage and onion are fat-free and full of vitamins. It is really easy in preparing and also very tasty. We can spice it only with salt and pepper, but real coleslaw taste is hidden in its traditional dressing. Unfortunately, in coleslaw recipe dressing we can find milk, mayonnaise, wine, lemon juice or sugar, what makes it heavier for our liver. That is the law of every dressing – the base often contains oil (it is good to replace it with olives oil). Plain coleslaw recipe probably cannot be considered as a taste explosion, but it is very light and healthy. Coleslaw salad is also served in KFC, which suggests that not necessarily it is recommended for people on a diet.
Coleslaw salad recipe (better than the KFC one:)
8 glasses of grated cabbage
1 or 2 grated carrots
2 small onions
1/3 glass of caster sugar
½ spoon of salt
1/8 spoon of pepper
½ glass of mayonnaise
¼ glass of milk
1 or 1 ½ spoon of white wine vinegar
2 spoons of lemon juice

Grated cabbage and carrots put into a big bowl. Add sliced onions. Mix sugar with pepper, salt, milk, mayonnaise, vinegar and lemon juice till the ingredients are joined. It will be your dressing. Pour the dressing on the grated cabbage and carrots and put it to the fridge for 2-3 hours.
